Here we explain what data we process when you contact us through this website, what for, and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
Data controller
Vanina Cicero Ferreyra (LEXFELS Abogados), NIF (tax ID) 45180860M, Rambla Josep Tarradellas, 1, local 3, 08860 Castelldefels (Barcelona). Email: vaninacicero@icab.cat.
What data, and what for
- Enquiry form: your name, phone number, email, how you prefer us to contact you and whatever you tell us. We use this data to reply to you and, if you hire us, to provide you with the service.
- WhatsApp, phone or email: if you contact us through these channels, we use your data to reply to you.
- If you hire us: the data needed for the engagement, for invoicing and for the firm's legal obligations (for example, the anti-money laundering rules, Ley 10/2010).
We do not use your data to send you advertising without your permission, nor do we make automated decisions about you.
Legal basis
- Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form (you can withdraw it at any time).
- The taking of pre-contractual steps and the performance of the contract, if you entrust your case to us.
- The fulfilment of legal obligations that apply to the firm.
How long we keep it
If you do not go on to hire us, we keep your enquiry for as long as needed to deal with it, and for a maximum of twelve months. If you hire us, we keep your data for the duration of the engagement and then for the periods required by law (for example, ten years under Ley 10/2010).
Who else sees it
We do not disclose your data to third parties unless required by law. To operate, we use providers that process data on our behalf under a contract: hosting for the website and for our management system (Vercel and Supabase) and, if you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta). Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, they do so with the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent, by writing to vaninacicero@icab.cat. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, AEPD (aepd.es).
Professional secrecy
Everything you tell us is also protected by the professional secrecy that binds lawyers.
