Residence card for a family member of an EU citizen
For non-EU family members of EU citizens to whom the EU scheme applies.
Who it is for
For family members who do not hold the nationality of an EU country — children, partner or spouse, father or siblings — of a citizen of the Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland who lives in Spain.
General requirements
- Your EU family member must live in Spain: working, studying or with financial means and health insurance.
- Proving the family relationship and, where applicable, that you are their dependant.
- Valid passport.
- Applying for it within three months of your arrival in Spain.
